Under the supervision of Emeritus Distinguished Professor Philippe G. Ciarlet, I earnt a Ph.D. in Mathematics from City University of Hong Kong. The main theme of my Ph.D. dissertation was the justification of dimensionally reduced models governing the deformation of linearly elastic shells subjected to an obstacle.

During the time I was holding a position as a Zorn Postdoctoral Fellow at Indiana University Bloomington, I was affiliated with the Group of Applied Mathematics and Partial Differential Equations. My Mentor at Indiana University was Distinguished Professor Roger M. Temam, with whom I was working on problems in Mathematical Biology and Climate Change Dynamics.

I am currently holding an Assistant Professorship at the School of Science and Engineering at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen.
