This page outlines my process for handling requests for recommendation letters and clarifies the circumstances under which I am able to provide them. My goal is to ensure transparency so that all students understand the process and requirements.
I am pleased to write recommendation letters for students who have ranked among the top 10% of performers in at least one course taken with me.
To maintain the quality of each recommendation, I can support no more than four requestors simultaneously.
Please be advised that the preparation time for my recommendation letters is two months, beginning from the date of formal approval via email.
This policy is firmly upheld to ensure fairness and consistency. Due to the numerous requests I receive and the multiple applications each student typically submits, each letter requires a considerable investment of time to craft thoughtfully. Adhering to these guidelines allows me to devote appropriate attention to each recommendation and avoid last-minute pressures that might compromise quality.
